    More like the pressure back home has become too much including the markets

    looks like he managed to create 50 million more people hate the US and ballooned our deficit and the Iranian regime is still intact with a new khameni

    this guy is easily one of the worst world leaders of all time

    It's bad when he has two blackmailers with two different goals.

    President Donald Trump on Monday told a CBS News reporter that the war against Iran could be over soon, and separately spoke to Russian leader Vladimir Putin in a call about the war, according to the Kremlin.

    “I think the war is very complete, pretty much,” Trump said, according to Weijia Jiang, CBS’s senior White House correspondent.

    Trump has done nothing but make things worse for the average American.

    I'm glad he got to check in with his old pal, Putin, about it. Good to get the advice from a fellow gangster.

    We also lost 7 American soldiers, a half billion dollar THAAD radar, billions in interceptors and probably gave away a lot of info on weaknesses of our defense systems...for strikes on children and some suffering of Iranians.

    Think about it if it ends now (and most sane people would like it to end, like, before it started):

    * much more debt
    * 7 dead soldiers
    * Look like a nation on meth to the rest of the planet not named Israel
    * Americans worse off (and less safe, with renewed Iranian hatred cemented for at least a couple of decades).
    * Iranians worse off, with a new, younger leader who's reportedly even more hard-line than his pops
    * Our non-Israel connections in the ME are like: WTF, brosephs? Blocking your phone #.

    We've lost multiple THAAD battery systems not just one and the cost is close to a billion dollars each not just half a billion BTW

    I posted it in another thread, but it seems by the street celebrations (in the middle of a war) the Iranians are united under their new leader.

    I doubt the majority are supporting him, but there are enough to prevent any change. A regime change would require civil war and I don't think there is an appetite for that. I could be wrong though.

    You underestimate people coming together for what they consider to be the greater evil. I said it on the first page of this thread, they may not like their govt but the people of Iran will rally behind Iranians vs an outside threat.

    the US has screwed the Iranian people for decades and betrayed anybody around them. There was no love and even less since scores of civilians, children have been killed, their water purification plants destroyed and oil / petrochemicals everywhere in the air they are breathing, their elder and sick religious leader being assasinated along with a 2 year old grandchild

    it’s not difficult to get people to rally against an enemy that does that. Neocons are a cancer to this country, they pulled us into another pos conflict.
