While I LOL'ed at this... it likely is the plan, and given the extension carnage they're staring down - WAJ, Stroud, Kamari... it makes sense to be patient and find some good - but cheaper - parts after the initial spending spree. But they better do nothing but draft OL next month, though......
We need to have an aligned voice on this - Nick created the cap situation we are in. If he also uses it as an excuse for the OL woes, he cannot play both sides of this. Nick is accountable for this OL to work. Not next year’s. This one. He’s had time and plenty of opportunity and drafts. If he cannot get it right this season, he needs to go. I hope Cal says the same thing to him.
One can dream that Caserio will bring in Trent Williams and Elghton Jenkins in FA. Then draft Proctor or Icheanachor and Dunker. I also hate that they're missing out on all of these top TE upgrades.
Really good guard off the board Cardinals agreed to terms with G Isaac Seumalo, formerly of the Steelers, on a three-year, $31.5 million contract. Seumalo is a 10-year veteran who started all 44 games he played over the last three seasons with the Steelers. The 32-year-old made a Pro Bowl in 2024 and earned a 74.8 PFF grade in 2025, good for No. 12 among guards. Seumalo will be a new starter for the Cardinals’ interior offensive line as they figure out their quarterback situation moving forward.
Probably going to have to build the OL/TE rooms through the draft. Meanwhile Meco just spent 3 yrs 24 mil on Reed freaking Blankenship and I like Blankenship. Too bad that money didn't go to Mays.
