Fans can complain about Laremy, but he is no fool. After getting screwed in the draft with the leaking of the bong mask, he has wised up and done very well for himself financially. With this two year deal, he is pressing up against $240,000,000 in career earnings and he is only like 31-32 years old, he could end up making $350,000 million by the time he is done.
this is how I feel. I just don’t understand what Caserio is doing with his o-line dealings. I can understand overpaying for Ingram but we better be upgrading the center spot. Really hope there’s something big up their sleeves. You cannot depend on the draft.
Per Schefter on TV, part of the Packers sending Gary to the Cowboys is them shedding cap still. Noted he expected their center, Jenkins, to be traded or cut in the next 24 hours. With options dwindling, we might sneak in there or we may run the risk of waiting and seeing if we get outbid.
Dude Mendoza is gonna have a solid rookie year with an All Pro level center in front of him. Meanwhile we have Temu David Andrews.

Wow.... so last off season they gutted the offensive line, after hiring another OC with no experience as the head OC before....... and everyone said that they were going to rebuild the line in trade of FA, and they did not... they basically went into the season with a gaping hole. That would get a lot of people fired -- but whatever, the defense was elite enough that everyone kept their jobs. Everyone assumed they would spend this off season fixing the offensive line and now it is looking more and more like they are just going to resign and pay more for the guys that were bad last year to comeback. They can't be THAT dumb right? There has to be a plan, a viable plan to add a real difference maker on the line (at a minimum) right? It really can't be resigning the guys that were bad? I don't think Caserio is some great talent evaluator, but he isn't stupid right? He has to be aware that the line was bad, and I would argue not remotely talented enough. He cannot think this is cool-- right?
I mean Mays was a backup to start 2025 and previously had been a practice squad player; I get that he was cheap but it takes two to tango. Maybe he liked the Lions offense more? Ingram was a good signing and the texans won each trent was in; he was sorely missed in the playoffs
damn. Edwards is really good. Another good guard gone. But that’s a lot of money. New Orleans adding some really good players today.
