I still take Sheppard over Castle. Jalen Green fans never learn.

Do you need any more confirmation that you are biased and your eye test is probably as useless as Udokas?

the plus/minus shows when he’s on the floor he literally takes shooters away from Durant and everyone else. After about 15 or so games red hot you are penalizing him for 2 poor shooting performances , one of which is against castle/harper who neutered durant too?

and you think Tari who has been one of the worst players on the team is more valuable ..

And amen has been doing great when teams won’t guard him period..

bro I like you but you are cerifiably batshit crazy. No objective metric backs you up, even basic W:L (8-2 when Reed starts)

At least he is not the 1st Holiday, Justin Holiday made the move earlier.

The bald head is actually the shiniest part about him.

That I agree with. I see something in Amen’s game last few weeks that gives me hope. He could score more but for some reason is reluctant. He had the ball wide open in the paint just below the elbow and didn’t shoot. Instead he pivoted to look for KD. He consistently does this when he should be attacking. The Rocket offense is too predictable. I thought he played great that first quarter and dominated the Spurs guards.

one other thing I see is Sengun and KD are so slow in recognizing his cuts into the paint. He passed to KD on the block then went into the paint. Should have been a give and go but KD held onto the ball. I don’t get why the Rockets recognition on offense and passing is so poor.

Stone not trading Tari at the deadline was a firable offense. Now we either overpay 20+ million a year or he walks for nothing. Who is running this joke of a franchise!!!!!!!!

Although it is a sort of a lost season, pitting players against players should not be the way......

This is going to be a long off season without a 1st Round pick.

Sengun isn't Jokic. Sengun will be much more successful with another guard that can actually distribute the ball. If he is going to stay on the team, either Thompson has to develop a shot, he goes to the bench, or he gets traded. In this modern game, you just can't play two guys who are unable to shoot consistently from the outside. It's the reason any team has the luxury of throwing doubles at KD all game long. Kind of sucks that we wasted having KD on this roster by neither one of those two developing a consistent. If you guys remember, the offense was looking pretty crips with Sengun shooting decently early in the season. Then it cratered, and well, no spacing.

Udoka is not playing an FRP player anyways next year, so I don't think it would have mattered. The man is not interested in developing players anymore which is why we pursued DFS and gave away Cam Whitmore (not that I was a fan of his selfish style).

you can’t just go by plus minus which is one metric and it depends on the lineups and other players not just the individual. The tape clearly shows Sheppard being exploited and that is a fact that must not be ignored. NBC even showed it in their analysis. This is what teams are doing. I agree Sengun has been terrible.

The combinations for this team isn’t working period.

What has this to do with Jalen Green? I’m thinking more and more you are DD’s ghost account. You agree on most everything. Maybe it’s a symptom of TDS.

We don’t have the same infrastructure for them to develop. Our staff just isn’t as talented.

Isolated +\- is useless. But when you aggregate these many games statistically the rockets winning sheppards minute due to chance is less than 1/100,000. I can’t emphasize how insane it is to say it is useless with that level of consistent and consecutive sample size saying the same thing

A simple t-test extrapolating this (basic statistics) explains it but I doubt it changes anyone’s mind.

they are just too hyperfixated on Reed when he plays and zone in on any blow by etc

I posted the breakdown a while back but at this point it’s a waste of time. People were more analytics driven hen Morey was around now people dig into their bias and justify everything else
