To be fair, the Knicks still have their number for some strange reason.....I guess in the NBA you have one team that sort of gives you problems. I thought it might be the Rockets and Sengün but after tonight ....... that thought has been crushed.
there was absolutely no difference in the defense with him in and out of ht egame today. The only person I noticed there was a difference with was sneguin ---> capela that was what you saw spammed all game long. Senguin had wide open lanes all game long like ive never in my life seen
Even if you had Wemby, Rockets front office don't think it's our year unless we get Fred back. Fred is the generational talents.
how is it possible everybody got a good coach out of the pop coaching tree except the rockets? Houston luck strikes again.
I’m good with that. They lost their goon when they traded Sochan. But then all we have is Jabari. Maybe I need to rethink this.
In a playoff series, Rockets will be 0-4. Spurs only had 32 rebounds and still blowout the Rockets. Rocket shot well, at the FT line and assisted well, but it was over by the 4th Quarter. The only way to beat the Spurs with this this year's Rockets is to play like OKC, Det and somewhat Phx with Dillon Brooks. If you ain't physical with them, they are unbeatable. Let's hope Wemby gets his yearly timeout to rest his health.
The spurs’ spread out offense with Wemby in was absolutely killing us. Would have liked to see some sort defensive scheme change because man was not working.
Call it whatever you want. My argument is that front offices can only have so much success, but ultimately the majority will need a franchise player to succeed. There are very few early 00's Detroit Pistons situations that deliver a championship to a team without a true franchise player. There is a reason that as a Rockets fan it is a very tough pill to swallow that despite all the high draft pick opportunities we've had in the past 5 years, none of them appear to have a chance to turn into a franchise player. We certainly will have good regular season teams with the team we've built, but will not be an actual championship contender. It's fun being in the playoffs, but it sure sucks having to swallow that we are likely not going to be good enough to actually contend for a championship. Look at our luck: Green instead of Cunningham. Thompson instead of Wemby. For those two situations, it's nothing our front office did wrong, luck just didn't roll our way. The Sheppard draft was weak, Castle in my opinion is a limited player, so even if we would have drafted him, I see the same issues we currently have now. Same with the Bari draft, Banchero was not franchise altering although it would of been nice to have Chet (although even Chet I don't see as franchise altering). Maybe our scouting could of picked up on Williams and we missed an opportunity there.
