The results speak for itself. When Reed starts we are 7-2. Because of his skill set, he can open up everyone else’s game. He allows Amen to play his natural role on this team. By starting Reed, we have the best chance of beating the playoff teams. Coach Ime needs to run a consistent 10 man rotation so that the team can have fresher legs at the end of games also.

Seems like a bit of a redundant thread don’t you think.

Other threads said “should start” and now “it’s time.”

    Big difference!

Teams will isolate Sheppard and Sengun on one side of the court....but go ahead.

Little thing called defense doesn't matter

“But every team will expose the rockets inability to ever score points”

oh wait that’s right that has been every game th last 30 games

there’s a little thing called offense. Today’s game actually disproportionately favors the offense if you haven’t noticed.

that was a bad game for Reed defensively, but he was playing like prime curry on offense. If senguin played with 1% heart or effort we win. Reed is much better most of the time, and the numbers overwhelmingly show that

for some reason people here adopt the dumbDoka logic which has manifested itself in the most declarative way possible ..Ls

    8-2 when Reed starts

    https://www.si.com/nba/rockets/onsi...to-spurs-hall-of-famer-four-time-nba-champion

"People see the scoring and highlight plays and kind of get fixated with that, but there's a balance to a team. Whether you're looking at it from a defensive standpoint, with the starting lineup or offensive standpoint. You lose certain things with Fred being out and Dillon being gone.

…Fred being gone this year and our two main handlers being out there together at the start of the game, in Amen and Reed, it's easier to stagger those guys.

Definitely a consideration for us and he's started at times."

Udoka then compared Sheppard to NBA Hall of Famer and four-time NBA champion Manu Ginobili.
