If they could START playing a bit earlier! It would save so much STRESS! The starters were bad, missed easy shots. Cenac is almost worthless. I can't see him succeeding in the pros; he needs a lot of work. I don't even know who McCarty is! He saved the game. I don't see this team having an impact in either tournament. Something is wrong. Can they flip a switch?
Do you think he is worth over a million dollars to UH and is ready for the pros? As knowledgeable as you are about sports, I doubt that you do. He needs more time and coaching. He should stay another year or two, but he would have to take a cut in money.
Honestly, I can’t get my head around the money aspect of college ball. He’s a true freshman whether he’s got a couple bucks in his pocket or not. He will probably go pro. He’s got a great jumper and a nose for rebounds. He isn’t a low post scorer yet.
He's worth the money for UH...he's not ready for the NBA. He'll have a huge decision to make (and $$$ will absolutely play into it) whether to come back for another year or not. I said the same about Jarace Walker a few years ago (he needs another year but the money is hard to turn down) and his NBA career has been a disaster
UConn losing to a much worse team than OKSt certainly helps UH in the seeding wars. If UH is the #4 (or better) or 5 (best of the 2's) overall seed they'll be in the Houston bracket. Which would be quite nice.
