Cole Anthony would quickly become hated around here if we signed him, after a brief honeymoon period

He takes a ton of middies and isn't that great at converting them. Turns the ball over a lot. Is not a good defensive player. As a backup point guard on a team with a better offensive coach, he could be passable, but under Ime? Not sure I'm seeing it, the more I think on it.

I think we kinda missed the opportunity to acquire somebody who could actually move the needle when we failed to trade for Alvarado, White, Dosunmu, etc.

This looked like a loss. They came out flat and never got going until the 4th. Still needed KD to play 39 mins to beat the Blazers without their two best scorers at home. If Deni were playing this game would not have been close.

Blazers missing their 2 best players?!!

It's incredible how far Rockets have fallen since New Year's when they appeared maybe 2nd best in the West. Now they're projecting 1st round underdogs.

1st round sweep is likely to be the fate of the Rockets, with a total breakup in the offseason. The biggest fault was to sign DFS, instead of a 3 point shooter/ defender with adequate experience. The FVV injury was unfortunate and unexpected. No PG was traded for at the February deadline.

Stone and Ime need to go at the end of this season.

Yea I was kidding lol. I did initially think they traded him the other week when I watched the Wizards game and I tried to google the trade and then figured he had a brother. I guess I don’t know my wizards ;)

yeah Rockets left a lot of players open. Luckily Portland missed a lot of those. Rockets always have issues with screens on the perimeter or rotating when help defense leaves man wide open. That’s how the warriors beat them.

you know damn well this team is not getting swept. They play better against good teams, they completely relax and don’t try against bad teams.

If the rox had a competent coach then we’d know FVV could help thsi team, but Udoka is just going to use it to stunt Reed and we all know it
