I don’t think they could install him as the shah no matter how hard we tried.

The Ayatollah and probably new Ayatollah being hardline conservatives are the biggest barrier to Iran peacefully liberalizing. There are liberal elements in the government, they just were slapped down whenever they tried to make actual reforms.

At least we haven’t lost the 82nd airborne while trying to take Tehran International Airport. If this is our Ukraine, hopefully we can learn from Russia.

We have no reason to be bombing Iran or putting troops to occupy Iran as it has been heavily implied we will do today. If we do send troops, this is our Ukraine. But at least we are not the Russians.

Tear down the mosque and the wall.

Apparently Trump and Netanyahu agreed to this regime change back in December right before the protests broke out.

But instead of a liberal Iran we are on track to get a failed state or an IRGC run autocracy.

The lesson Ayatollah should’ve learned is that no one will save you when America comes blasting.

Turns out the "mass grave" at the supposed girls school was a picture from a 2022 islamist attack. The issue with islamic agitators continuously saying outrageous fake things is they have no interest holding themselves to any standard - it goes against the instructions of allah. Lying IS the standard. It is a fetish to post outrage bait as their 21st century jihad. I guess it's slightly less primitive than shooting up an Austin bar to murder kids, which follows the same line of thought.

The fact the west is forced to take them seriously out of political correctness is a sign that things have to change in regards to a very specific ideology that has no interest in assimilating or uniting a country.

Report from the very liberal AP:

State actors behind much of the misinformation about Iran war

As attacks spread after the bombing of Iran by U.S. and Israeli forces, a video circulated widely of crowds peering up at fire, smoke and debris coming from the top of a high-rise building said to be in Bahrain.

Social media users claimed an Iranian attack had hit the skyscraper. But while buildings in Bahrain have been struck by Iranian missiles during the Iran war, this video wasn’t real. It was generated with artificial intelligence and shared by accounts associated with the Iranian government as part of an effort to amplify its successes.

Pro-Iran social media accounts have adopted a narrative that exaggerates the destruction and death tolls wrought by the country’s military — a position supported by what is being reported in Iranian state media. This has led to a large number of AI-generated videos of supposed air strikes, such as the one of the Bahraini high-rise on fire.

“If you’re in these spaces, just understand that this is an extension of the physical battle space,” he said. “That there are actors on all sides of the conflict that are actively trying to spread propaganda and disinformation to convince you that certain things are true that aren’t. That your eyeballs and your attention are an asset.”

I never said pics of mass grave were real.

Are you disputing that we hit a girls school and 100+ are dead in the strike ?

I don't tsee the tweet claiming that .

All evidence I've seen so far confirms we /Israel hit it and a lot of people died

It is so fake that the U.S. military is investigating it and thinks American forces are likely responsible. The U.S. has satellite imagery technology, and I’m sure they looked at that area during their investigation. A bit of common sense and logic goes a long way.

In addition, @strosb4bros didn't provide a link/source for his claims. He needs to show the link to the claim. Otherwise, as usual here, with no link, we can assume it’s bad information given today’s social media environment.

Snopes actually did a fact check on this, given how many social media claims said the photo was fake. The article is here - Photo shows graves of Iranian girls killed in Minab school attack | Snopes.com. Verdict: A photograph authentically shows graves of schoolchildren killed by airstrikes in Minab, Iran.

"Contrary to the claims disputing the location of the photograph, we have confirmed that it is indeed authentic and shows the graves of people killed by airstrikes in Minab. Using photos and footage from Iranian government and media sources, as well as satellite imagery on Google Maps and Google Earth, Snopes was able to confirm where the graves were dug and authenticate the image in question.

We determined the authenticity of the photograph by comparing it to footage and past satellite images from the same location on Google Maps."
