I think we can rule out the Texans. Nobody will give the Dolphins that asking price and nobody will pay Achane $18M per year.
Achane-Monty would be the best tandem in the league. But I can’t get excited about anything offensively until we finally address our o-line.
Start with Woody and our 3rd to see if we're competitive. Bringing Achane home would be the kind of real jumpstart we need. Monty and DA would be super dynamic backfield.
Actually a 2nd and conditional 2027 pick seems more reasonable IMHO. 4 year contract, $61M (11 - 14 - 16 - 20)
https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sp...fl-free-agency-predictions-oline-21959770.php Interior offensive line Isaac Seumalo, G (Steelers) Greg Van Roten, G (Giants) Wyatt Teller, G (Browns) Kevin Zeitler, G (Titans) Alijah Vera-Tucker, G (Jets) Cade Mays, C (Panthers) Prediction: The Texans will sign two of these players to two-year deals each, perhaps Teller and Seumalo. Mays may be too pricey as other teams try to land him as well. Interior defensive line Roy Lopez (Lions) Shelby Harris (Browns) Cam Jordan (Saints) Prediction: The Texans bring back one of their three free agent defensive tackles, either Sheldon Rankins or Tim Settle for a one- or two-year, $6-7 million deal, and draft another defensive tackle instead. Tight end Charlie Kolar (Ravens) Adam Trautman (Broncos) Chris Manhertz (Giants) Prediction: Manhertz signs with the Texans on a one-year, $2 million deal to compete for a spot on the roster. The Texans draft a tight end at some point during the draft.
D'onta Foreman was going to be very good.... He's up there with Bennie Joppru and Charles Spencer as my "couldabeens"
