    Thompson is such a good defender and overall player, it's not some huge slight to say he's just not a point guard. He's a great forward, and that's insanely valuable.

    Come on Reed, gotta knock those down. Love his passing tonight, but would like to see him hit a few more shots.

    I can get seeing him as a forward. I'm starting to move more in that direction myself.

    What I don't get is people who say "he's a 4th or 5th option". It's insane to me to look at the game that way. Oh, he can't shoot, therefore he cannot possibly be an above-average starter on offense. Silly. I wonder how these people think past players like a young Blake Griffin would fare if placed in today's league. Amen isn't quite as incredible in the paint as 3rd year Griffin was, but it's not a big gap, and he makes up for it some by being a superior passer.
