Why would Portland be trying to lose? If they ever hoped to move down, beating Memphis three times in the last month made it impossible. Their tanking days are over, for one year at least. Now point shaving, I don't know.

if Jabari didn't have a miserable game last night, he wouldn't be out. The classic milk an injury when u have a historically ass game.

 

If Reed has another solid game starting at point and he goes back to the bench when Bari comes back, there needs to be some serious discussions moving forward.

I really hope Ime is not that stubborn. We'll see.

Heck even if Reed has a bad game, he's shown enough to start regardless.

Edit - I think our biggest concern right now is Sengun. I like Sengun so Sengun only fans please don't come at me. But the way he's being used right now as a 3rd option almost, it's pointless to have him out there. He's a below average defender, average rebounder, and average (being generous) rim protector. Just bring him off the bench, run the entire offense through him in the second unit, and this team can go somewhere.

 

Ime is definitely questioning these guys' toughness when they say they're hurt.

We have too many dudes trying to play through every injury instead of healing and coming back 100%.

And can someone teach our trainers how to tape ankles properly?

 

Reed starting in place of Jabari. God help us if the Rockets win handily tonight and Ime moves him back to the bench the moment Jabari is healthy again.

 

Amen still looks injured too.
