Cannot wait until Trash bag Jabri is off of my team. Defensively and offensively hopeless. Tall for nothing. Good thing he on a team friendly deal and could def fetch us something worthy with that salary.
What are you watching with Sengun, im curious. Because the two are polar opposite when putting a body on a player.
Year 2: .454 / .363 / .811 (TS% of .571) Year 4: .450 / .365 / .768 (TS% of .568) Nearly two full years later and there's no improvement. Obviously he's had good stretches, but at the end of the day, you are your average. Consistency is requisite for elite shooting, and with the quality of shots he gets, there's just no excuse for him to be hovering around league average efficiency.
The 40 minutes is on Ime. He must have saw Jabari locking down or something. After missing games to an ankle sprain.
I saw Varejao under the rim with no resistance the whole night. Jabari and Sengun were with him vertically like an oreo.
I don’t defend Ime much, but he was between a rock and a hard place. Tari, Jabari, Sengun all playing like sh*t on both sides of the court. Reed playing matador defense with no rim protection was an issue. This would’ve been the game for DFS to step up, but, I guess he wasn’t available.
Jabari is a bench player on all real championships caliber teams. He is basically inconsistent with everything he does, he could be 7’3 and still get bullied on the boards and by guards when posting up.
You are right that 22 year old Jabari is more of a bench player for a championship caliber team, but we aren’t any where near that. Giving up on someone with his obvious upside who is improving every year is really kind of silly.
is he really improving? Stats say he isn’t. Eye test should tell you the same. 4 years is enough time to see what they are doing. I don’t care about age anymore when you have guys like Kon who looks like a 12 year veteran. Either you got it, or just a fraud and should have been drafted in the late 20s of the draft.
I still wonder why Capela doesn't play more. He is a better rim protector than Sengun. He can set decent screens and rolls pretty well in PnR. He's an excellent offensive rebounder. Seems to be an Ime kind of guy.
LOL seems like he won some folks over while playing good for the last month or so, but now that he's had one bad game after coming back prematurely while still clearly not 100%, all the haters roared back gleefully ish is pretty funny
