Sengun is not that guy. I don't know how I didnt catch how soft he was in the playoffs last year, but man this dude braced up and flinched while setting a screen. Extra soft is what he is. If he was anywhere near the superstar he thinks he is he wouldn't let Al Horford or Quentin post guard him. Olajuwon would have had both those dudes in the rim. Coaching sucks too. Need a coach thats going to make these dummies set screens. Kd should not have to iso Draymond. A screen and him moving across the lane would've been helpful. Amen would be able to do what Pods did in overtime. Im tired of watching bad offense. Trade Alpi this off season and watch how much better we get on defense, turnovers, and offense.

 

Seems these ime teams have problems with the same teams the last 3 years (warriors, mavs, kings, den, heat)

anywhere but the rockets reed would go nuts. reed is just going to the open space, hes not even running an offense.

deja vu from the playoffs when kerr used his entire bench scrapping & scraping for a winning combination while chocolatemilk hair rigidly stuck to his 8man rotation and reetarded substitutions. same 4th grade offense too. stupid & stubborn leading to loss after loss after loss

 

Imagine Reed playing in the Warrior’s offensive system, or on a team with movement like the late-stage Duncan Spurs. Terrifying.

I’m so glad we got him. His defense can be a mess at times, but he’s clearly getting better. His offense is CLEARLY getting better, and the sky’s the limit.

 

Sengun is like Memphis Pau or Toronto Bosh. All star caliber but not a #1

 

I'm pretty sure yeah. The Lakers are more of a mess, defense is horrible and half of their team is lazy AF and Lebron is half checked out because he's going to be on another team next year.

 

It wouldn’t surprise me if we lost to the Lakers in the playoffs

 

1st 2x OT lost to Thunder. Probably should have won in reg but somebody missed fts late. Thunder a better team obviously

Loss to Denver - referees ****ed us in this one with the bs trip & other calls down the stretch. Bad luck

2 OT come from ahead losses to horrible Pelicans and Kings featuring lots of bonehead play - these were warning signs!

If he learns to provide some of the spacing and defense that either Pau or Bosh had, he would be a All-NBA 3rd team type of guy year in and year out, instead of a good player on a decent team type semi-star. His age is in his favor, but the devolution of his play style has been tragic.

 

We're at Pedro Martinez levels of "the Warriors are our daddy". Steve Kerr could insert himself into their starting lineup and we'd lose.

 

Pulling Reed under the 2 min mark after the game he had should be criminal. Don't put too much in this game as these unfortunately are the games Vegas wants. And the Feds won't ever do anything about it.

Also lol Kevin missing 2 FTs in the clutch. And trying to brick that he makes it.

Last point to make, Sengun really needs to go back to the basics. His foot work and post game has been trash all season. His extra movements are often unnecessary. He let Post and 90 yo Al Horford own him. This is why losing Adams was a big loss for this team and any chance for post season success. Sengun really needs to rest for like 2 weeks but he can't. Its time that the Rockets really think about bringing one of the starters off the bench and letting Reed run the offense.

 

I wouldn't even give him that. He's like all star level John Amaechi. Same path as Alpi. Dude had that one breakout year and was given that huge contract and quit caring.

A power forward. No he's not a good defender. He can be hid better in a team defensive scheme as a power forward vs center. As a center on defense in the paint for most guards it's a layup line.
