    She literally approved 148m to a brand new company run by a friend to make commercials about her as head of DHS.

    That is OUR tax money to a buddy to follow her around making commercials.

    Democrats aren't going to prosecute her if they regain power. Can you prosecute her for what the agents did on the ground? It would have to be a charge regarding the overall chaos surrounding the deportation initiative.

    8 U.S.C. § 208 (Financial Conflict of Interest): This criminal statute prohibits federal employees from participating personally and substantially in any matter—including government contracts—where they or a person with whom they have a relationship (which can include a close friend) has a financial interest.
    Imprisonment: Up to 5 years for willful violations; up to 1 year for non-willful violations.

    Misappropriation Act (31 U.S.C. § 1301): Federal funds must be used only for the specific purpose and programs for which they were appropriated. Using them to enrich a friend, rather than for the best interest of the government, violates this
    criminal penalties (fines up to $5000, 2 years prison)
