the browns are rebuilding their o-line because it was terrible last yr. Why are we going after Browns’ cast-offs? I really don’t want to go dumpster diving for our o-line. We can’t do this again.
Thank you for pointing that out. Dang, casual enough fan unto idiocy. What am I doing with my life? I understand that this is my side of the street stuff. I'll clean it up. I'm going to self impose an 8-hour moratorium on posting on this site. We will rebuild.
-Texans are expected to adjust the contract of new RB David Montgomery - Texans are expected to cut Joe Mixon - Ed Ingram could potentially be priced out of the Texans budget there. - Sheldon Rankins & Texans have mutual interest in a new deal - E.J. Speed & the Texans have mutual interest in a new deal - Team is interested in bringing back Trent Brown & Tommy Townsend - Texans would like Derek Barnett back
Totally agree. We should absolutely make decisions not based on three seasons of data but exclusively on two quarters of football. That's what smart football teams do. I suspect the Patriots are having the same discussions about moving on from Drake Maye after he was awful throughout their playoff run.
An offensive *line* being bad doesn't eliminate the possibility that some of its parts were much better than the whole. I have no opinion, either way - but I wouldn't let an overall team result drive any of my decisions.
Yes now we can focus on guard and center in free agency. Still think we need to draft a tackle for the long term; good tackle class.
Agreed, good signing, take care of the RT position for now and draft his replacement and let him learn. Now we can focus on G-G-C I assume my dream of having Trent W is now up in dust and TBH this was the prudent move
