Murray as a game manager QB in a run-first offense... and with his mobility... I'm a yes.

I'd love to get Tyler Linderbaum. Wishful thinking, I know.

He comes across as an entitled prick but he's dynamic when he's locked in.. The problem is that's about half a season... BUT I'd, unfortunately, still take him over Stroud going forward in this window.

Last year, if we simply had a league-average QB, we would have made it to the Super Bowl. Our defense is that good. The window isn't open forever, and waiting on Stroud to improve seems like a colossal risk. We need to take bold action at QB.

How is swapping CJ for Kyler Murray "bold action"?

Go big, go for the best center available in Linderbaum, an elite run blocker. No more bargain basement shopping!

Didn’t the browns bench Teller last season because he was so terrible?

Looks like he was 13 for 13 last season (before injury)

That being said, other than Bitonio (who I think retires) I do not I think I want any of the old Browns OL.

Linderbaum is definitely an elite (zone) run blocker. But the Texans run a gap scheme. Linderbaum's gap blocking numbers are not near as good, so he's not really a great fit or worth the money here.

Thanks for that. No one ever considers it when talking about adding to the OL or evaluating players.

Between him and Tua, you can make a case not to throw big money at "avg" QB`s......the thing about Murray (and Tua) is they show "flashes" of being really good but then they do a 180 and look like hell. IMO if you're on the fence about giving $40-60 million for the QB position, you better be dam sure because the flip side is cap hell and a rebuild. I won't be shocked if the Fins grab Murray, he`s a better version of Tua and they might be able to get him for CHEAP while they figure out what to do

Man, as much as I want him, it might be better to throw $12-$14 million for 2 quality players......not from the bargain bin per say, but 2 quality interior lineman. But I would not be mad if they DID get him :D As TheFreak points out, he may not fit our scheme, but like I said, I wouldn't be mad if they did it
