Hopefully, they will get the chance to "totally redeem" themselves. (Dumb and Dumber, one of all time favorite movies)
The B12 Tourney should give them a shot at those same teams...will be pretty important for March seeding.
Yeah not surprising at all when you switch to the 2 from the 1. Also, Milos’ shot has been there enough to know he’s still got it and his defense is still top notch. Tugler has had very few such bright moments. Tugler scored some easy baskets today after it was already decided but he had 2 fouls in the first 3 minutes and was back on the bench. Dude cannot stay on the floor. Plays very low IQ basketball. While Uzan has struggled a bit with his position change and deferring to Fleminings, his struggles are definitely not a “close second” to Tugler. Tugler is all by himself in the “most disappointing” department.
Well, since no one answered, I just have one observation from the game. Arizona's defense is beyond elite. It's likely the best in the nation, maybe the best ever. I will be shocked if they are not in the Final Four, and not surprised if they win it.
No surprise that the 4 best teams in the country are 1-4 in Kenpom's defensive efficiency rating: Duke/Michigan/Arizona/Florida eta: it was also funny to me that AZ's coach felt the need to vent about people calling them "soft". I have no idea who those people are but they're morons, there's nothing soft about that team.
Arizona is good. A lot of size and a good mix of experience and young players. I'm thinking there is only a couple of teams with a more costly roster than theirs.
Arizona is very good. They may never play UH in the tournament and win the title - but if they end up playing UH, they will lose.
If Arafan Diane had somehow reclassified to this season and Roberts had another year....UH would have enough bigs to beat the best teams. As it is, they're ****ed. I am curious in what multiverse you're making this prediction?
I just watched TCU beat TT on Tech's home court and Kansas lose to ASU on Arizonia State's home court. Two shocking upsets proving once again that the BIg 12 is brutal. Go Coogs, beat everybody!
If UH and Arizona meet in the tournament - UH will win. A lot of the mistakes UH made are correctable on the defensive end and they missed a lot of shots they usually make. UH is excellent at tape review and adjustments. If they meet again, UH will win and their backcourt will know how to handle Zona’s physicality a lot better.
Let's talk when it gets to the S16?, dammit I think you're absolutely crazy, but...I'm rooting for your ideas
Tonight we will find out if the Coogs are "tournament ready" by how they play. If they let Baylor do what TT let TCU do last night, then the outlook will not be great. The Coogs have talent, but do they have "grit"
