Welp, somebody's been reading the morning papers:

I'd be a lot happier if we hadn't started this in the first place. I'd be ecstatic if there was even one competent person in this administration's decision-making tree.

Jesus Christ. None of this even makes any sense. Trump is claiming he has an endless supply of stuff and built it in the last 12 months because Biden gave all of it away to Ukraine?

This crap is straight out of 1984. War is peace.

You mean just because he doesn't have experience leading a battalion, or in operating a large organization? He led a platoon in the National Guard. He did go to Princeton and Harvard, does that help? Oh wait, now he's banning military from attending those woke schools.

Does his 10 years of commentary on Fox change your view? His loyalty to Trump over all else? A former employee claimed he had witnessed Hegseth drunkenly chanting "Kill all Muslims!" Does that help?

    just like Trump 2.0s ill-conceived tariffs, it's half-assed.

Tariffs, "half-assed"? He (and, to a lesser degree, Nutlick and Bessent and Navarro) were pocketing that tariff money.
The Supreme Court put a speed bump in front of them, but they're looking for a way to drive onto the shoulder and around any obstacle.

this regime will lie about anything to try and make themselves look good, so you know things are truly fcked for this regime to put out that it’s not possible to know the full scope and duration of military operations

Senate Republicans warn Trump about expanding Iran mission as death toll rises

But with American casualties reaching six on Monday and conservatives warning of a second coming of the quagmire in Iraq, lawmakers are cautioning that there is peril if he goes that far.

“What’s the end game?” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said in laying out the question he hopes officials are able to answer on Tuesday.

“I think the president is well aware of the concerns of the American people for any kind of elongated engagement,” said Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), a member of GOP leadership.

You mean pissing off the entire world, destroying NATO, and not defending Ukraine has consequences.

I was also thinking about the pentagon budget. It’s completely corrupt just like the rest of big corporate America. Palantir is getting billions but they don’t produce bullets. The three jets were lost are 100 million each. And we are reducing food stamps so the incompetent Epstein class can siphon off millions and billions.

I feel sorry for the Iranian protesters who were hoping the US would come to help them. We aren't there to help them.

I didn't bother. Shouldn't he have explained the rationale to Congress while asking for authorization to wage war?

Everyone enjoying the latest US War for Israel?
    https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2003/9/22/us-plans-to-attack-seven-muslim-states

Always remember this is the 7th and perhaps latest war in the Middle East by America for Israel.

A former commander of NATO’s forces in Europe, Clark claims he met a senior military officer in Washington in November 2001 who told him the Bush administration was planning to attack Iraq first before taking action against Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan.

The general’s allegations surface in a new book, The Clark Critique, excerpts from which appear in the latest edition of the US magazine Newsweek.

Clark says after the 11 September 2001 attacks, many Bush administration officials seemed determined to move against Iraq, invoking the idea of state sponsorship of terrorism, “even though there was no evidence of Iraqi sponsorship of 9/11 whatsoever”.

Ousting Saddam Hussein promised concrete, visible action, the general writes, dismissing it as a “Cold War approach”.

Clark criticises the plan to attack the seven states, saying it targeted the wrong countries, ignored the “real sources of terrorists”, and failed to achieve “the greater force of international law” that would bring wider global support.

“There was no evidence of Iraqi sponsorship of 9/11 whatsoever”

    General Wesley Clark

He also condemns George Bush’s notorious Axis of Evil speech made during his 2002 State of the Union address. “There were no obvious connections between Iraq, Iran, and North Korea,” says Clark.

We have had enough Americans die in wars for Israel and have spent literally trillions on these wars. WE have had our reputation go down the toilet worldwide as supporters of genocide.

Cut Israel loose. America First over Israel.
