He's a borderline workhorse that will help move the chains.. Still would like a dynamic RB specialist behind Woody . I think Caserio and Demeco are yelling out to Stroud " Damn that rookie year magic that you're seeking to rekindle, just dont f×ck it up no more buddy"

Definitely get the idea behind Montgomery but we will need to see how the rest of the offseason goes with the Oline.

What weapons are you looking for? The WR's were drafted last draft. Now if you said the TE group needs upgrading or they need to add another RB, I would agree with you.

    Montgomery fills the biggest weakness.

Short yds/ GL, He excels in both of these areas.

Thank you zeeshan2 for all that you do for this forum with your timely posts. I feel better now after watching this. Montgomery seems to run over tacklers and be every bit as much of a dawg as Mixon was for us. He also appears to be a similar type receiver out of the backfield as well. It might really workout for us since he still maybe has a lot of tread left with his usage going down in recent years.

I'm good with this trade. He is not the sexy RB like Walker or Hall, but he fills the short yardage and goal line need. He and Woody should make a good combo.

Talk about a running back moving the pile practically by himself.

All three. I love Nico too, but he cannot stay healthy. I feel like we are still missing that other guy who stabilizes that room (like we hoped for in Diggs last year). With the ISU 3, while young, we hardly moved the ball vs NE. We have an open window right now and we need upgrades everywhere on offense.

I’d have liked to say while OL needs improvement, we can be flexible in the draft. What if Boston or Concepcion are there at our first pick? If you think one could be WR1/2 material, you consider that move. We almost certainly have to pick OL now and I fear for being back where we were last year in the NE game. It puts a ton of pressure on that room to step up. Nico will be banged up at some point next year and we need to know we have another alpha ready to step in

I like this trade, the texans literally have 2 good young rb's in Marks and Jordan.. Now they have a vet that can help them grow and teach them by example and he can also provide you with production..

not insane because it has to do with the o-lines and playcalling, not the rb
