Eh…. Ryans’ last three 4th round picks: Dylan Horton, Cade Stover, Woody Marks. It is hard to imagine them finding a more impactful player for 2026 in the fourth round than David Montgomery.

By a decent amount? Brother it’s not even close. Achane was putting up huge numbers last season as the only threat in that offense. Over 1800 totals yards, averaged 5.7 YPC, and unlike Montgomery, he’s actually a threat as a receiver. He’s also not going to be 29 years old next season.
I’m loathe to defend Caserio, but can we not judge him for fantasy trades that don’t exist? If Achane is dealt, *then* we can get upset. But it looks like the best FA RB isn’t going to be available, and the next-best options are no slam dunks. I don’t love the DM deal - but being upset they dealt for him and not Achane is silly.
7th round pick and Scruggs were just throw in no big deal most people don’t even remember the 7th round picks that are made unless you LUCK into something plus they are easy to acquire.
I never said I was upset. My main point there was if Achane is traded it’s going to be for a lot more capital than this deal. If he’s dealt and somehow it’s not for much more, then it’s time to be upset.
