I’m on record saying this is what is best for both the Rockets and Jabari. He has shown the ability to put on muscle. Even if he “only” shoots 36% from 3, he would be one of the best stretch centers offensively. His defense is challenged sometimes against the perimeter players he has to match up against. Those incidents of guarding the perimeter would be diminished if he was more of a rim protector. Amen, Reed, Durant, Tari, Jabari could play 4 out and be pretty amazing defensively. Sengun could garner a lot of trade assets to start to build around Amen and be able to attract another stud when Durant’s contract runs out or is traded. I would not use Sengun and draft picks to go after Giannis which would effectively close our window to about 2 years at a time when OKC, SA, and Denver would still have the superior lineups and coaches.

Warriors may be tanking for a lottery pick. You know the NBA will award them a top 3 pick if they miss the playoffs. When Dallas got Wemby, they gave up all attempts to hide their contempt for the fans.

I like you believe Giannis is fool's gold but sadly I believe this is Stone's target. Not because it is smart because like his and Ime's previous comments this is about ass saving. I believe they originally did not go after Harden for the same stupid reasons. They want to fly under the radar. I also believe Kyrie is a target. They want to be able to sell something to Patrick. You can tell in the previous gutless statement about this not being our year. Its disgusting. We desperately need any non-r****ded offensive coach.

This I can get behind, build for the future. We need shooters and playmakers, whether keeping Sengun or Amen, I just don't think Giannis is the answer. Jabari is a player that gets way too much hate.

Wish I could give this a thousand likes. All these stan wars BS only served to detract from the real ones to blame. I don’t think Udoka is taking any team that’s not already loaded with talent to a championship, and Stone has just not been good at anything other than negotiating contracts. They just haven’t even come up with a consistent vision and identity for the team and I don’t think they are on the same page generally either. It sucks.
