This just shows how important Jabari is to this team.

Amen being back makes offense harder for everyone including Sengun. Like that video says when Amen hurts the offense its Sengun and KD who pay the price and not Amen himself..

Most of NBA players are very talented, so if your maximum effort is not there, you're going to get beat. That's the reason upsets happens, and I wouldn't even call losing to the Heat an upset. They have the Rockets number having won 10 of the last 12 games.

He did not fool ye, he was one of the pillars of rebuilding, now that rebuilding is over and if push comes to shove.....

    • He is suddenly not good enough?! the transition period was going to be brutal.....
    • he is only 23....his career has just begun.
    • It just happens that guys like Wemby, Chet, Coop Flagg have seemingly better futures or outlooks.
    • Kind of expected looking where they were picked and where Alperen was drafted.

Spoelstra is older news, you have David Adelman, Mark Daigneault, Mitch Johnson, Joe Mazzulla, our friend John Blair Bickerstaff.

And great candidates Jordan Ott and that Raptor coach Rajakovic I believe.

just watched the game. not that miffed about the loss. Heat played near perfect basketball.

Sengun and Tari were really bad for most the night. Reed cooled off significantly but still liked the 5 ast 0 TO statline against one of the best defenders in the league.

KD scored 32 points on 20 shots, he wasn't hurting yesterday.

Amen is a good offensive player, despite his limitations. The problem is still the same one we've been talking about constantly, the fit between Amen and Sengun. Either of them alone is a positive on offense. Both of them together is a problem that needs to be addressed.

And the thing is, we're not even built to compensate for it. We'd need three legit shooters around those two at all times, with ideally at least two of them being movement shooters like Reed. Instead, we often play a third non-shooter like Clint or this version of DFS, and/or a mediocre catch-and-shoot corner threes guy like Okogie or Tate.

On top of that Ime is a basic, uncreative offensive coach.

It's a bad combination. Core players who don't fit that well together, bad roster construction that doesn't try to address the issue, and a coach who just yells at guys to play harder instead of coming up with creative, innovative schemes to hide our weaknesses and emphasize our strengths. Scapegoating any one player is missing the forest for the trees.

Tbh look up there, its obvious a 2 way race. Im just hoping we can play the spurs in 2nd rd and not the Nuggets.

Thats if everyone takes care of buisness.

Taking the spurs to 7 Games even if we lose would beat neat. Next year with everyone back, will be the chance
Houston has to either get past Okc, and go for a chance. But there going to be 1 team sooner or later that will
have to get past Okc, its either Spurs, Nuggets,MINNY, OR Rockets, and or Lakers. Watch blazers in year or 2.

I dont think any non center who cant shoot can be called a good player in todays age. Yeah KD wasnt affected because he was in god mode but Sengun was def affected as he got outplayed by Bam and Kalel Ware.

I keep seeing everyone say this roster had bad construction so its funny to see you say dont scapegoat the players but then you scapegoat the GM.

This roster has GREAT construction thats why they are 3rd seed despite having injuries and inept coach. Getting KD alone for Brooks and trash shows you how good Stone was in the offseason. Everyone keeps saying he should have accounted for injuries but you cant always do that, even Celtics and Pacers end up with a gap with just 1 injury. And yes, FVV isnt Tatum or Hali, but thats also why Rox are 3rd seed and not last place.

Spurs have already embarrassed us enough. No way I want losing to them (although likely) or them advancing further.

Get used to it, that tape will be used in the playoffs (aka Jalen Green last year). Stone got us zip and quit on the team so first round exit incoming!
