Looks like the first strikes were aimed at taking out the Ayatollah. MAGA nuts just lost any ability to give Trump any sympathy towards assassination attempts on his life.

Also if that first strike had been successful how would the US be safer then putting the Iranian national guard in charge with the mandate of revenge against their religious leader who was killed in an assassination attempt that took his life and probably the lives of many others who happened to be in the building they decimated with a missile??
