I cant understand that there are people in here that see Tari's intelligence level and awareness and believe he should be starting.
I don't like Jalen Green either, but this team decided last year prematurely that they were ready to compete for a championship by bringing in KD. Now you've got 37 yr old KD as the best player on your team when it should be carried by some of the players Stone drafted. I'd rather have taken a player in last year's draft to continue searching for that special player. It was ridiculous to say last year that we should stop drafting players because we have too much talent already. No we didn't. What would you rather have now - Cedric Coward & Dillon Brooks or KD?
Amen really did not have that superstar leap. It's crazy how much more slack he gets cut than the other players we drafted tbh, he's been more disappointing than most of them considering the hype.
I’ve seen enough. This is a very poorly constructed roster where the players don’t fit well. Couple that with a coach that is so arrogant that he refuses to adapt to the roster he has. Stone already set up excuses at the trade deadline so they can save their jobs - “maybe it isn’t our year” - so all we are going to hear this summer is that FVV and Adam will save their jobs Rockets. The foundation of this rebuild is poorly constructed. You can try patching over it with KD - but the upside isn’t near OKC and SA and they aren’t beating Denver even if by some miracle KD is healthy at 38. How sad.
