    Lowe and Simmons (or pretty much every national broadcasting figure) never throw coaches under the bus. But he still managed to talk about how much PTSD udokas offense gave him.

    The thing that Reed detractors dont understand is that we have NO OTHER OPTION.

    The season went out with FVV and the nail on the coffin was put when Adams went down. They were both amongst the 5 most impactful rockets. Imagine in 2018 if CP3 injured his ACL before the season started as did eric gordon/Tucker later. Our season is done. We need to see what we have in reed sheppard.

    I check in on Cade from time to time. At no time have I ever said “wow, what a box score!”. He’s good, but he’s also not the primary reason the Pistons are doing well this season.

    Zach continues crushing the Rockets in his latest podcast, again wondering where Reed is as the offense grinds to a halt:

    "Being tough and big is just not enough of an identity to win three playoff series in the West."

    Ime isn't going anywhere, but this off season Tilman will need to pay for a highly experienced lead assistant to run the offense - a de facto co-head coach. Maybe the face of this doesn't change, but the philosophy must be abandoned.

    I’ve heard that so many times. How does it work? Do you really think Ime is going to hand over the rotations and game-time decisions to an assistant? If they hadn’t handed out that ultra ignorant extension they might have had the leverage to get Ime to accept some boundaries. Besides they already have their assistant head coach (FVV).
