As someone pretty obsessed with golf I can confirm he’s not bad but he has what id consider an old man golf game. If you want to be good enough to compete at a high level in tournaments you do need more ability to drive your hips to get enough power to be in position to be on the green on your approach shot consistently. His swing on his drive is painful to watch and mostly relying on swinging his arms. With his short game I cannot see someone with that level of patience and attention to detail to read greens, and have the focus needed to be a great putter which is what you have to be to get low scores. So no I don’t buy that he’s good enough to win tournaments unless he’s shaving strokes, getting a ton of gimmies on the green, and tee’ing off on the whites. Plus the dude lies about everything all the time even when he doesn’t need to lie so there’s no reason on earth to believe he’s great at golf.
