You sound like the dumbass since you're arguing to fire Udoka when he's only been here 3/6 years and in those years he got us to .500 in year 1 and got us to the playoffs with 52 wins in year 2. If you fire Udoka I guarantee you he will be picked up by another team in an instant, and you will be here in b****ing to fire the next coach as well.
Winning? From intentionally trying to get wemby to: 1. 11th seed 2. Lucky 2 seed by being healthy and still getting whammed in the first round Look at the spurs. They just now stopped tanking and they already are a second seed with a 4–1 record over okc. Thats success. Thats winning. This franchise is content with mediocrity.
Boston fans had the exact same problem with him and he had prime Tatum and Prime Brown. The only reason his trash ass even made the finals is because he was in the east and he still had to go 2 game 7s with a worse heat team and a injured bucks team.
If not a single player has gotten better in the time ime has been here than that’s a him problem. He can’t make anyone better. Sorry as a player. Sorrier as a coach
Amen got better and played his way into the starting spot. This year his flaws are being exposed because he's forced to play point. Sengun showed growth last year but has regressed this year. NBA coaches just polish already skilled players. They are less responsible for teaching them fundamentals they should already have (e.g., dribbling and shooting). Most players get personal coaches for that. Anyways...Stone said last offseason 'we are not a developmental team anymore' when he traded Cam Whitmore to the Wizards. It's about putting the best players on the floor to win games rather than give unearned minutes to young players for so called 'development.'
Stop this nonsense about changing a coach “too quickly.” The Boston Celtics moved on from Ime Udoka after just one season in 2023, and they won the championship the following year. Mark Jackson was fired after three seasons, and the dynasty formed right after. There’s no such thing as “you can’t make a coaching change this quickly when the team has been on an upward trajectory for two years.” If it’s not the right fit, it’s not the right fit. I’d rather have fast success like Joe Mazzulla than stick with one team for over 20 years like Jerry Sloan and never win a championship.
Boston never had 2 prime players in the starting lineup that couldn’t shoot more than 10ft. That team played with 4 shooters and Robert Williams
This team is a 4 seed inspite of ime. Not because of him. LOL. “unearned minutes”- so why is Ime playing guys who go 1/10 from 3 40 minutes? Why is Ime benching the only decent offensive players this team and sorrounding durant with defenders, to then complain about muh Iso Ball? Sengun- still year 4 and still gets hunted in the PnR and still inefficient Reed- he simply got playing minutes this season Amen- can’t shoot, can’t dribble, regressed defensively Jabari- too inconsistent, can’t dribble, bad perimeter defender Eason- low IQ
Ah yes, i’m sure the reason they lose was totally not because ime benched reed who was red hot yesterday (50% from 3), and generating good looks and not the man who single handedly cost the game. Ime couldn’t win in boston. He will never get out of the first round here.
Funny thing is if we had FVV, we wouldn't have lost some of these close games. Ime wont play Reed in crucial minutes in the 4th because he's a defensive liability. Amen can't run point because he's better off-ball. I can count at least 5 games we lost and said if we had Fred we would've won. Ime is not a good offensive minded coach, but he's not a terrible coach...I think he just need to close the game with Reed instead of Tari. If we can't shut down our opponent at least give us a fighters' chance with an optimal offensive lineup
such a defensively liability that mastermind ime udokas defensive lineup let the knicks score 33 points
Always an excuse with Ime crank lickers He wanted Jalen Green out of here, we got him Kevin Durant. Still the same issue if stagnant offense persists. It was the same in Boston too.
There have been at least 7 games that Reed has won just by himself at this point. This over reliance on FVV is quite insanity. Did we watch the same player last season? We had the same exact issues. In fact, those issues are why we got Durant after the disasterous GS series. It was supposed to fix "offensive collapse" The defensive rating numbers completely refute the Reed too bad defender narrative and the offensive numbers especially when he's on the court make it malpractice to play a guy averaging 1-2ppg on like 20% shooting over him.
No they didn’t dude. Mazulla lost to the Heat in conf finals in 2023. They only won in 2024 (2 years later) because they went out and got a rim protector stretch 5 Porzingis and Jrue who was an upgrade over smart. That team played 5 out and iso ball and they shot teams out of games. No doubt Udoka wins a title with porzingis and Jrue
Mazzula’s celtics play heavy iso and they’re one of the top iso teams in the league since he’s been the head coach. Many top teams play iso relying on their stars to score or create and dish. The Rockets issue as mentioned ad nauseum is lack of spacing due to non shooters.
What you’re saying isn’t factual. they lost to the Knicks for several reasons. You can’t say because the reason they lost was because they didn’t play Sheppard. There’s no evidence or basis for that statement. They lost due to turnovers, poor shot selection, and they couldn’t get key defensive rebounds or stop brunson.
Firstly, that’s not true that they only rely on iso offense. We saw how a G league celtics team humiliated Ime once again. Secondly, even when he was in boston fans would scream that the offense was stagnant due to his weird lineups. Also funny how you didn’t mention that this roster is almost handpicked by udoka They lost because they have steaming pile of **** as head coach named udoka who: 1. Didn’t bench DFS despite bricking a 3, bricking a layup, and getting smoked by KAT on defense 2. The turnovers were a result of ime only having one decent offensive player on the floor named durant whom they gaurd on the perimeter 3. Wasted a timeout on a clear offensive foul instead of saving it for the final shot to where durant wouldn’t have to take a 41 footer
