Go ahead and roast me but I’m bored

Kings get Sabonis replacement & save $20mil

Jazz get an expiring and some picks

    Rockets 2026

    Amen / Reed
    KD /
    Lauri / Tari
    Jabari
    Sabonis / Capella

I’d try to try to trade for Ty Jerome for that backup guard spot

Just get someone who will be a good fit with Amen. Then trade Durant for more player/s who will fit with Amen. Ensure Reed is traded or groomed for role player ststus.

Make Amen Thompson the first option next year. Give him the keys to the franchise. Let him transform from offensive liability to superstardom.

Man I would pay money to see this in action. Get 'er done Morey.

Maybe Isaiah Hartenstein. Don’t know if Sengun would fit with OKC or not. Salaries are fairly close.

Would be a bad value for us and a bad fit. Hartenstein is a good player but he just makes our spacing even worse.

I don't see a deal with OKC happening unless they're willing to include Jalen Williams, which seems highly unlikely.

Don’t know if it’s realistic or not, but maybe NAW and Okongwu and NOP 26 pick for Sengun. We might have to add one of our own future picks or the 27 Phoenix pick depending on how high Atlanta is on their players and Sengun. I’m after that pick!

Should have never traded for an old has been star in the first place... Who only won a ring because he joined one of the best if not the best team of all time.

If Stone felt Durant could add value fine. But you don't give up two starters. You offer Bari or Tari even Reed and you add Durant to the team not replace important production pieces for an aging and close to retirement star...

Pisses me off just thinking about it...

Nets: if they strike out in the lottery? (MPJ salary wise or Claxton & filler)
Hornets: I don’t know? Do they want to break up Ball/Miller?
Bulls: just kinda out there, no real direction
Clippers: wanted to get younger and clear their books. 35 y/o Kawhi?
Lakers: nothing to offer but draft picks. S&T Reaves? Oh yeah, Luka & Sengun on defense lol
Heat: Not getting Bam but maybe a Ware/Herro package?
    Bucks: beaten to death

Not a good fit for us, them or both

Claiming to be building a winning culture and then trading for Twitter Fingers is a the hallmark of a mediocre front office.

This is the Rockets Achilles heel. No other moves will significantly improve the team as long as this front office is still in charge

How bout we don’t let Sengun iso-dribble from the 3pt line anymore. What the f#ck is that? He’s doing as much ball stopping as anyone. I just don’t understand it. It’s like our coaching staff doesn’t know how to use our players. They use Amen wrong. They use KD wrong. The use Sengun wrong. They’ve got Tari playing the guard spot. They barely play Reed. What the f#ck is wrong with these people?

So tired of always being the team old stars come to retire in or get their last pay day in....Barkley, Carmelo, Dwight, Glen Rice, Pippen, Ty Lawson, to an extent even CP3, Ron Artest and the list goes on and on. This team never learns, I wouldn't be surprised if LeBron ends up here .. or Giannis in 5 years....

Doesnt make sense to essentially rebuild after already rebuilt. There’s no guarantee draft picks pan out and if would take several more years of development. Why would the Rockets do this? Again this changes their calculus. The question should be will they change their current calculus of doing what it takes to win now? Likely not.

Artest was in his prime. So was Dwight. Both went on to win championships with other teams.

Im more frustrated with how our teams are built. They’re rather unusual. Harden’s Rockets didn’t have guys that drive or play one on one. We have similar issues with Bari and Tari to a certain extent. We also now have guys who can’t shoot.

Just oddly constructed. Blame Morey, Stone, Witus, and Fertita.

All part of the front office. You can’t have mediocre executives and expect to win titles.

just chasing the shinny object. Who was the last drafted star we had? Yao?

And this front office is in their 7th season and can’t find a star picking in the top 4 in four drafts and then sits out two of the best drafts. But don’t worry, Bari, Reed, Sengun and Amen will save us?

I dunno what their issue is. A lot of people are involved from scouting, development, Stone’s advisors, Witus etc.

I suppose they drafted Sengun since they saw talent and did the same with Amen. But logic would tell them that pair is limited due to their lack of range. I don’t think they think that far out and seems their philosophy was to get who they think is the best player available. And maybe they thought Sheppard was the better player over Castle who was too similar to Green without a shot.
