Trump as a sociopath could care less about loss of lives, American,Israeli and of course Iranian but is scared as a less than clearly winning short "war" without disastrous effects on the world economy will sink him in November. This Iran war isn’t even about the US. It’s about Israel wanting to decapitate the regime they see coming back to attack them in the future through proxies.

I'm going to stake out this Saturday overnight.

The ten day deadline strikes me more as a PR step to try to make Trump look deliberate and solemn (lol, good luck with that) than an actual opportunity for Iran to make a deal.

I honestly would be shocked if there isn't at least a token bombing campaign. My primary concern is that a couple of simple shock-and-awe, in-and-out type operations means Trump thinks he's got this war thing down pat and he FAFO's and accidentally bites off more than he expects or intends.
