I thought when Breen said KD will have won in MSG against the knicks in five different jerseys that there was no way we were going to win the game.

sadly I was right.

would have been nice to have given the ball to a PG in the last four minutes… oh wait he was on the bench.

 

That's why I was so puzzled if coaches ever have pass the IQ tests? This was clear as day even to me

From my angle, the loss was the result of ime's bad decision to keep DFS in the 4th qtr. DFS bricked as three, passsed a dunkable/lay up to a turnover, was a weak link (with no center in the game!!!) attacked by KAT resulting to 2-3 knicks consecutive points and the momentum shifted completely to the knicks. Afterward, rockets players played tensed resulting to brick shots and further turnover.

 

I guess putting DFS on KAT was Ime's innovative adjustment. If it worked, he would look like a genius and all Clutchfans would have to shut up. LOL.

 

I feel so bad for KD

Why is Unc on the team if you can’t even use him as a stretch 5?????
DFS is out of shape, slow footed and his shot has fallen off. He had no business guarding KAT

 

That was my take on it, but sadly it did not work… and single coverage on Brunson did not work… he makes it hard to say lack of offense was the only thing that lost us the game.

 

The rockets are not serious about this year. We will definitely regret the KD trade in 2 years.

 

Woulda been ok to get our ass whipped or lose to the better team. UTTER COLLAPSE tho, I’m still livid.

 

Brunson allowed to go one on one in the 4th is a fireable offense when you have successfully bottled him up and built a near 20 point lead

 

Jalen Green can hit a buzzer beater, so Brunson can as well......he does not need to show up whole game.

KD can still get buckets at a 25 point a game clip for the nxt 2 years, the problem is his supporting cast that does not give him the shooting and spacing he needs

 

The whole KD shenanigan was because they could not draft Victor ....someone generational.....we all know that.

It changes nothing, you still have to get one after KD retires.

 

They draft victor and he isnt half the player he is now. No doubt they would squander his development and ask him to play to his weaknesses

More fireable than playing 3 18% 3pt shooters over the best ones when you need a 3 to tie coming out of a timeout with 2-3 seconds left?


Id have an easier time advocating for Satan to be allowed through the gates of heaven than arguing for this dumbazz being able to coach

 

Could be, could not be, the thing is at least the fanbase knows you tried......the KD thing is a lot more nuanced bc it forces your hand to make a slew of follow up trades which Stone is not known to do, therefore nothing adds up in the end.

If we're doing Stone's dream timeline prior to KPJ's hotel incident cementing himself as a total sh*thead, wouldn't it be more like:

Cade Cunningham
Kevin Porter Jr
Paolo Banchero
Alperen Sengun
Victor Wembanyama

That looks less insane, although you'd obviously have to get rid of KPJ and Banchero. But the KPJ thing presumably plays out the same way, and Banchero is movable for a better fit.
