As for Jabari being r******d, he is pretty close to NBA r******d. He screws up assignments, he cannot remember plays or spacing and his instincts are poor. He isn't Stromile Swift stupid, but he is stupid. That doesn't mean that he cannot be a useful player or possibly improve (his passing is a little better), but he isn't there right now.

As far as upside for the core - there is absolutely upside, they are the 3rd best young team in the Western Conference long term at this point. Maybe fourth because Dallas has a franchise player. That is good - but do you see this core being able to beat OKC or SA in a playoff series in the next 5 years? What happens when Jabari, Sengun, Amen and possibly Tari are locked in at the going rate? There are some serious cracks in the foundation at this point.

clingan is such a bad finisher at the rim. He is an omer asik offensive eyesore.His ceiling is a backup center on a good team or starter on a bad with zero offense. Hes essentially capela at best.

His one good thing is offensive rebounding. He gets blocks but fouls too much.

This has def been the weirdest Rockets season in a long long time. Expectations so high, yet the team is so blah.
