Would you have traded 3 future first and Jalen Green for Trey Murphy III?

Having Dillion Brooks, and Trey Murphy to me would of been smart. Fits the time line of this rebuild.
Rockets were star hungry. So i can see why they did it.

Yet they went for a aging super star, because they felt it may pay off in crunch time. Lets hope it does.

 

The next 10 years will be OKC Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs in the WCF.

Rockets will always be mid playoff team or mid Lottery Draft Pick.

 

The OKC and Spurs FOs are significantly better than ours so it’s not surprising. Dallas will be ahead of us too.

 

No brainer trade

 

You banking a lot on the health of a guy who wants to try so hard in all star game. I’ll believe a Wemby is healthy when he actually is.

 

Why exactly would we add 3 FRP's to Jalen Green to get Jalen Green with one less year in the league? Have you seen Trey Murphy III's numbers? He aint ****.

 

If the Rockets could have gotten Murphy for 3 FRPs, they probably should have done that with or without KD. His defense worries me a little, but he adds a ton to the offense.

 

The Spurs front office is better but really they are just luckier.

Their rebuild was trash, garbage, worse than Houston's, even more embarrassing with Josh Primo and no-talent "Point Forward" Sochan along with Devin Vassell as their core

Then, boom, Wembyballs.

Castle falls into their laps after the Rockets draft for need.

They get lotto luck again for Harper - that is just 3 strokes of insane good luck, one of which is likely to be the greatest player of the next 2 decades (plus the Fox trade) that put them on a course they were otherwise not on.
