You’re right when you say Sengun could be an all star, but I think it’s pretty unlikely. Sengun gives me more Pau Gasol Memphis and Toronto Bosh vibes. Very talented but better in a supporting star role.

I’m not saying Sengun won’t be a superstar because he’s not Joker. I’m saying that it’s unlikely he’ll get there with his current outside shooting struggles. It puts on cap in his strengths. I think in regards to roster moves people are making FAR too much of this KD stuff. Let's assume it is all true. The account is true, likely, lets say he really did say this stuff about Jabari and Sengun....ok? This is a short term deal, unless KD demands a trade, the Rockets have to get something from trading him to make any trade. All that will happen is apologies behind the scene and everyone will move on. Players have been mean to each other before. Draymond bullies teammates. Jordan did too, Kobe would openly trash his teammates. Honestly if KD saying this stuff really ruins the confidence of Bari and Sengun and Reed (if this were true) It would say more about those players than it would about KD. Durant had a whole ad campaign about not being nice, I'm pretty sure the Rockets FO knew a lot more about this stuff before acquiring him. It's just like CP3, everyone knows he's a taskmaster and pesters his teammates about doing things this or that way, anyone getting CP3 should know this is what he's about, it only becomes a problem when they can't produce on the court.

This is year 5 for Sengun so he's got 1 real All-star and one make-a-wish All-star to compete with 2 real all-stars, all-NBA 1st and all-NBA 2nd team for Jokic, oh and 4th and then 9th in MVP voting his 4th and 5th years(he won it the year after, in his 6th year.) So do we think Alpi's on the same career path, or do the raw counting stats not tell the whole story?
I tend to agree this makes KD look like a fake person, because I doubt he’s said anything close to what’s in the group chats to the players’ faces (can’t even be sure that everything posted allegedly from him is even real to begin with)…but then again, these were private group chats that got leaked, and KD isn’t the only one on the team saying sh*t to friends/family they don’t want public

Sengun is averaging 55 TS, and has been for all 4 years in his career. His defense is borderline pathetic. He gets picked in PNR scenarios, even IME called him out for it.
