It's not about playmaking. It's about defense. There a huge difference between defending guards and defending wings. Tari, Jabari, DSF, Durant can defend wings. They can't defend guards very well. Okogie is also a wing defender who is better than Tari, Bari, and DSF in defending guards. Amen is the only good full-time backcourt defender. You can't just say there's no difference between guards and wings. Modern NBA is pretty much positionless on offense. Defense is a whole different story. You need players of different sizes and speeds to defend well.
