they hired him specifically to coach like ****. similar to silas but he fronts it with a biased discipline strategy as if he’s doing the franchise any favors, he is against development. and is not a winner. MF is a born loser and a shitty role player during his tenure. Constantly has bad body language, scowls and curses at players and the officials. I think he is more mediocre than he thinks of himself......he is real good motivator and defensive assistant. In game, time outs, adjustments, do not seem to suggest he is a good overall coach. Somehow his teams overperform in the regular season.

I do not believe he loses intentionally rather it is simply he has zero idea how to run an offense or make adjustments. He simply is not a good coach.
He's just someone who would rather lose going with his gut than do the smart thing. Imagine someone who is one part Dusty Baker and one part Kevin McHale who thinks they are Pop.
I'd actually respect him more if he WAS throwing games as a sketchy gambler. I think he just genuinely is that ****ing bad a coach. Incredible culture setter, but he's clearly the reset guy, not the win it all guy.
