So a player 19th in PER b2b seasons making all-star those same b2b seasons in a league with 24 all-stars is among the worst all-stars ever ?!! Same people were probably talking down on Sengun from jump. Bias is stupid when it directly contradicts facts/logic. Get it right, instead of trying to be right. An adult, instead of a child.
Crap. I'm happy for him, but I'm pretty sure getting snubbed put some extra fire in him the last few games. Don't lose the rage, Alpi!
I believe the ASG is in their arena? Will definitely show up I believe a big reason they picked him is to market to the local fans.
We all know Alperen maybe should be sitting this one out. That said, there are some of the same ones with their vociferous cheering against him. For them, it not only runs contrary to what a Rockets fan should be doing, but it's symptomatic of something far more reprehensible in human behavior. There continues to be no room for that in our house, or anyone's house for that matter.
I just really hope he gets some real court time this year. If they let the format screw players out of their moments to shine (however brief) they need to revisit it entirely. Last year was a disgrace tbh.
I really don’t think playing in the ASG puts much physical toll on your body. The Pro Bowl is more competitive. And I don’t think they like to play anyone who wasn’t actually named an allstar but got in because someone else dropped out — like last year. If he plays it’ll be for 3 minutes and the end of the 2nd and 3rd qtr.
