14:43 Can you imagine they saying mid-range is dead?! … Get to your spot man, that’s it.

22:16 Today’s game, a lot of shooters. I’ve seen guys passing up layups to kick out for three. I’ve seen guys on the fast break just pull up for three.

22:59 I like to watch certain players. They make the game look so easy. (KD: give me a couple of names) You number one. Shai. Joker. …

    24:00 KD: Jokic, Embiid, Sengun

How do you like playing with him?

KD: This is my first time playing with a big that can play that way. I’m used to playing with bigs that set great screens, play great defense, limited on offense. He can do it all on offense. Shoot the three, post up, make the passes. It’s been an adjustment. I’m not used to bigs playing in my area too. He’s setting up in the same spots. We play similar. We have a similar approach. But it’s been fun. He’s getting me open shots. They double him in the post, I’m getting open threes. If you don’t double him, he’s scoring that. Fun playing with bigs that can do multiple things out there.

Hakeem: Seems you’re having more fun out there than the couple years in Phoenix.

KD: Always had fun out there. Don’t want to undercut what we did in Phoenix. I feel as though we were an older group stuck in our ways as veterans and veterans kinda do their own thing. … I love it here. Love being part of the Rockets. Every time I go to the arena, I see the retired jerseys and makes me go harder. I still feel like if I put in enough work, I can hopefully be up there with y’all one day. Always inspired by seeing your name.

Man, it's so true when they talk about mid-range. Imagine if these kids on the team just started focusing on that instead of jacking up 3s.

Quick easy buckets and once the opponent starts guarding the elbows, that would open up the 3 point line.

Also, why don't we have Rudy T. back as a scout? He could wonders with this young squad.

KD said he wants to retire his jersey as a Rocket. Then Hakeem the playa told KD "Tell yo mom what's up."

Hakeem - Playa on the court and off.

The Mid-Range went away because too many players simply could not hit the isht
That is what Morey's numbers showed. It was a bad shot because MFers could not hit the shot.

People talk about their love of the midrange
    but look at those 80s and 90s games .. . . .. a MFin' Clank Fest
That is why people like Dale Ellis, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, Vinnie Johnson were Mid-Range Monsters
but the rest. . . not so much
