There’s a cool backstory to that solo. He wasn’t invited to play. Wasn’t even really friends with George Harrison like the others. They didn’t practice the solo. The band was afraid to talk to Prince, lol. They too wondered “where the heck did his guitar go?” One of the absolute greatest solos ever recorded.
