That was horrific. Congrats to Breezy Johnson, though. She blew our her knee on the same course in 2022 and missed the last Winter Olympics.
I was sitting the bar watching the Quad God doing his thing and there where a couple of young dudes going full homophobe about it and it Made me mad. That’s an American representing his country. He’s the best figure skater in the world and they are so insure that they talk down about him? I know there are fathers on here so I ask you to raise your kids right. It’s pathetic that in the year 2026 people think it’s cool to dog on athletes more disciplined and talented then them . I don’t know if the guy is gay; all I know is that he’s bad ass on the ice.
I am not sure if the Lindsey Vonn thing is more brave, stupid, or selfish.... but it's definitely all 3 to some extent. I fully respect her drive and dedication to attempt to compete without an intact ACL.... but i feel like she really just took someone else's spot who was healthy and could have actually competed. Someone else's dream had to die so she could fail while attempting the impossible.
