He isnt a sulky little b**ch, who quits on his team and is so terrified of failure thst he won't shoot the ball, so the conparison doesn't stick.

Ben Simmons' failures all occured ultimately because of his character, his softness, and his fears. Amen, conversely, is a mench. Nobody's ever accused Amen of checking out on the team because his feelings were hurt.

Worse at everything than Ben Simmons?

I mean..... Amen has already hit more 3s than Big Ben. And Ben never scored as many PPG as Amen is this season.

Also, Ben Simmons with a heart and desire to compete is a really good basketballer. All star 3 times without those things...

Maybe mean tweets will help Amen find his shot. Amen is definitely not as soft as Ben.

 

i think amen will continue to grow and improve... he seems like he really wants to be better - and isnt just happy that he got a payday... Thats why im big on guy's attitudes... id rather have someone with a little less talent that works to improve than a more talented guy that isnt going to put in the effort...

 

Amen is light years ahead of Marion in playmaking. Marion was equally as bad of a shooter as Amen at his age.

Amen is probably the hardest working and tough nosed sob on this team

he’s being asked to simultaneously learn to be a pg and all world shooter

he can be a good midrange shooter an we should stop there

 

When people compare a player to Ben Simmons its to his peak. The issue was that at his peak, Simmons was still easy to gameplan around in the playoffs and so will Amen if he continues to play PG for this team.

No one is talking about Ben Simmons post-Trae Young debacle. And its pointless to use that version of Simmons in response cause no one cares about comparing any player to that version of Simmons.

 

Amen has one of the best attitudes and approach to the game in the entire league. This kid is a winner

 

It ain’t about practice. Amen needs to want to make buckets, hunt them. If he adjusts his mindset he’ll be fine. Otherwise, yes, Ben Simmons…

 

dude gets mad and frustrated... but ive never seen him mope and play the blame game... im a fan of the kid!

 

Game 7 vs the warriors last year he was the only one giving it his all the 4th Q. If they trade Amen I’m going to stop following this team tbh. The current outcast group isn’t easy to root for
