Isn't Cam Thomas basically Jalen Green without the Ime years making him a functional defender? So Silas Jalen Green? Do we need that then? Seems like a backwards move.

I'd argue each of these players would actually make us worse...

Maybe not DeRozan, but I don't know if we need another 90s basketball player on this team. We already take too many twos.

I don't think the Kings release any of them either, not sure what the Kings are even doing.

 

I don't see Ime signing anyone unless there are some linebackers on the waiver wire.

 

Has Derozan shifted to outside the 3 pt line that much? He used to be deadly from the mid range. We were actually better early on this season when we shot the least amount of 3s in the league.

 

I wish we would've brought Eric Gordan back just to watch the epic meltdown on CFs it would cause.

 

Ime is the last person we should be listening to... hell if he likes a player that should be seen as disqualifying from consideration

Derozan is still a guy that mostly takes two pointers. I mean you could argue he makes us better, he's still good at these shots and he can get his own shot most nights.

Those other two guys Russ and Klay would definitely make us worse.

someone posted that if the buy out ccandidate's previous salary was more than the non-taxpayers mle hard capped teams areu not allowed to sign them. that means Derozan is out for us even if we wanted him.

The only person with even a slight, minute, sliver of a chance to make a difference on this team is Cam Thomas, but zero chance Ime will play him and zero chance he even wants to choose the Rockets since he wants his bag. Everyone else has the upside of a good ole Pablo Prigioni.
