Is this implying that you would’ve wanted to see an Eric Gordon to Houston trade?

 

Crazy how the Clippers completely blew up after seemingly looking like they might start to be fringe contenders.

 

Sure the refs can't ignore both him and Sengun moaning together? /sarcasm

We could use Amen to move into the top-4 of the draft, but I'm not sure if this would be a good move.

 

Clippers are receiving a 2026 first-round pick from the Pacers, protected 1-4 and 10-30 -- plus a 2029 Pacers unprotected first-rounder. If the Pacers first-rounder this year falls outside of that 1-4/10-30 range, it converts to the Pacers 2031 unprotected first.

 

I’d rather them do nothing if the options are nothing or trading for Eric Gordon

 

There’s a world where we can acquire Kawhi and still keep Amen and Sengun.

But would require Fred waiving his no-trade clause.

 

Better is subjective. Better at what we need is not subjective:

He's better at setting up an offense, getting the ball professionally into the right hands, protecting the ball, aggressively telling players where to be, running a PnR and mentoring two guys who are learning the position.

 

Tough times? We have the second highest net rating in the NBA. If we're not a couple of tweaks away from contending, who is?

 

Perfect next to Amen. Instant championship contenders if in some universe this happened.

 

That's what all this is suggesting.

Kawhi has been one of the 5 best players in the NBA this season and the Clippers have been one of the league's best teams over the past 6 weeks.

I cannot fathom why they would trade away two of their 3 best players in the midst of that unless they know that Kawhi will be suspended soon.

Regardless, glad to see the Clippers fall apart. They cheated and I'm grateful it didn't work out for them.
