Folks, let's be realistic, he is tiny. He is too small and fragile for pro football. Next time, he could be facing disability. I would strongly advise him to NOT get on the field again.
Both his injuries were flukes. Rolled up while blocking (thanks Bobby for having him block inside), and a teammate hitting him in the knee with a helmet while catching a TD.
It's not a fluke injury when a coach uses Dell as a goal line package. That's plain stupid. End zone was a fluke
Left Houston some years ago, but still identified with the city and sports. Yeah, I was flipping between threads and got lost.
First off, I am very happy Tank Dell has made so much progress. He's earned my respect for his dedication. I totally understand why he continues pursuing his lifelong dream. At the same time, imagining him back on the football field, putting his body in harm's way again, makes me uneasy. I hope he's able to play at a high level several more years, gain some wealth and finish out healthy.
Dam....that gets me football horny. That injury was so horrific, I just wonder if he will have that same "twitch" as year one..........having him back could be a "cherry on top" moment for the Texans
His tiny little skinny legs are not made for pro football. That's why they have been broken like matchsticks. Tank, run away while you can, pick another vocational path!!!
