    AD to join Trae on the sidelines the rest of this year while the Wizards complete the develpment tank.

    This is basically 5 seconds. The 1sts are all trash. Pretty good trade for the Wizards imo. Those late 1sts are fun and all until you actually have to draft them and end up with a bunch of Josh Christophers.

    The Mavs can make 30 bad trades and they will still all be cancelled out by their wink-wink deal handing them the #1 pick and a legitimate franchise player.

    I think some people are missing this. Wizards fans have a LOT to be excited about for next season!

    (That is, until AD breaks his fingernail on opening night, misses the next 25 games and ends up playing a total of 48 games over the final two years of his contract).

    This is the power of having crappy expirings. McCollum and Middleton basically gave Washington tickets to the super bargain bin discount store. Yes, Trae and AD were distressed assets but Washington got both of them at appropriate discounts. They can also he shelved for the rest of the season to complete this year's tank job in a loaded draft. Savvy teambuilding.

    I for one am just happy we don’t have to watch AD kill the Rockets in a Mavs uniform. Crazy that it seemed he was always hurt but would magically get better to play against the Rockets and kill us
