I’m new in my career! Do I:
    1. Work as hard as I can to do my best and make the best impression with my team and bosses!
    2. Say **** it and purposefully do bad for reasons!

First do 1, then do 2 when you realize that you don't want to work there anymore.

Reed can shoot the ball well. Superstar level? No. I get annoyed with players that make millions of dollars, who have this mo, that they don't have to play d or give this half a** effort on d. I hated James Harden and still do to this day, because of it. Im not saying Reed doesn't try, his effort seems half hearted and lazy. Kind of like Cam Whitmores effort. Luka Doncic is someone I hate and I think the Lakers will never win a championship with him as the star.

I think a lot of fans on cf glaze Reed. I like him, because he's a Rocket. He has potential to be spark off the bench, and that's it. No other team is thinking that he is the 2nd coming of jesus. Can he improve? I dont know, but i want him to. He went into to summer league this year and looked horrible against summer league talent.
In conclusion summer league talent is the bottom tier of NBA level talent in my opinion. Only level worse than that is G-league level. Reed is viewed here as this A level talent on this site. Eye test and stats say other wise though. He floats in between C and D level. Too good to be in D, but maybe a little above c.
I believe in Reed, as long as he is a Rocket, but he's in my categories of assets I would flip. Jabari, Sengun, and Reed are in that group. If anyone thinks Reed is in any level above C, we must not be watching the same thing.

This says a lot about your character, or lack thereof which is more appropriate. The actual responsible adult thing to do would be to still do the absolute best job you are capable of doing whilst you look for alternative employment, your way shows zero integrity at all. It's the sulky little child approach to life, and it's not surprising at all that you would be the person promoting that kind of weak-willed, pathetic loser behaviour.

Richie Saunders is the shooter we need reed to be. He is older and a few inches taller but should be available in the second round

I sincerely doubt that Reid is trying to tank his trade value.

I have no doubt that there are ups and downs when he is taking on a larger role and trying to develop. It’s not like he is one of these prospects that come out where they are developed athletically already.

I am still expecting him to make five All-Star games in his career. I do wish the coach would give him a longer leash.

You guys who are so all-in on Reed (you know who you are) are funny.

Reed has a string of good-great games: "He did that despite Ime's intense hatred of him!"
Reed has a string of mediocre-bad games: "He did that to tank his trade value!"

So he's risking his credibility as a professional because he really wants to remain on the team with a coach that hates him? Got it.

Get used to the ups and downs. He's a young, talented guy who obviously didn't arrived as NBA-ready as Flagg or Wemby. Give the kid some breathing room and quit expecting him to shine every game.

(I fully expect a few replies telling me that the only bad games Reed has had were not really bad AND were 100% Ime's fault.)

Life is full of ups and downs. I think Reed is pressing a bit, trying to earn more playing time. In the process, he is taking more bad shots

Both equally. I guess what really irked me about James though was him saying he exerts so much energy in offense. He was an iron man and said that. T mac had injuries until he gave up. I loved Tracy, wish he would of taken us further. Series of unfortunate events. Bob Sura gets hurt in that Dallas series. Yao gets out rebounded by Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur. When we are trying to make a comeback in the clutch and we need to secure a defensive rebound. Then he had surgery and it was all she wrote, oh well. Both of those guys didnt lead us to the ultimate goal.
