How do you MAGATs not have any shame or self respect? Like imagine typing on a keyboard that Trump is focusing on fraud while hes pardoning the worst fraudsters for bribes? I just dont get how yall are so shameless @Salvy . It just blows my mind
The 1960s are back baby ... It's time for all to protest “Too scared to join the military/ Too dumb to be a cop/ Citizen I.C.E.”
I especially like how Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh is getting **** named after himself. Kavanaugh making sure that long after he is dead people are going to remember his sorry ass.
That's the thing that kills me. I don't run into "crazy" MAGA't in my day to day life, they're all very chill and cool and normal...until they bring up politics. The guy above is a great example, and there several others: I wish I had never read their posts in the D/D (because I enjoy their posts elsewhere), and then I would still think very well of them, but now I can't, yet I still enjoy their posts elsewhere (but it's always in the back of my mind). If any of this convoluted bullshit makes any sense...
Let’s slow this down and stick to facts instead of insults. First, there is no unanimously passed federal law that gives a president unilateral authority to “release all files” in the way you’re claiming. The release of investigative or sealed records is governed by courts, FOIA exemptions, grand-jury secrecy rules, and national-security law, not vibes or political outrage. Even Congress cannot legally force the release of sealed grand jury material without court approval. That’s the rule of law, whether you like the outcome or not. Second, claiming he is “breaking that law every day” is factually wrong on its face. If you’re alleging criminal conduct, the correct venue is a court, not social media accusations. Third, accusing someone of “protecting child abusers” without evidence is defamatory rhetoric, not an argument. If you have a specific statute, court order, or docket number, cite it. If not, this is just narrative-building. Fourth, on ICE and the rule of law: enforcing laws passed by Congress is not authoritarianism. Disagreeing with immigration policy is fine, but pretending enforcement itself is illegal is simply false. If Congress wants different outcomes, it has the power to change the law. Until then, agencies are obligated to enforce what exists. Finally, personal attacks don’t strengthen your position — they usually signal the opposite. If you want a serious discussion about law, accountability, or transparency, I’m open to that. If the goal is just insults, then there’s nothing substantive to respond to.
Fancy that you are on the record suggesting it’s acceptable for citizens to actively interfere with ICE operations — ( which is a felony ) but let’s unpack the legal nuance on a different topic: Under New York law, falsifying business records is ordinarily a misdemeanor unless it was done with the intent to commit or conceal another crime, which is what elevates it to a felony. In the Trump case, the prosecution argued that certain business records were falsified to conceal a payment to Stormy Daniels, and linked that to alleged campaign‑finance violations. Trump’s defense maintains that the prosecution has not — and cannot — definitively prove that the record‑keeping was intended to conceal a crime, arguing that either no underlying crime occurred or that any record issues weren’t criminal in intent. So, it’s fair and accurate to say: Trump’s defense argues that the prosecution has not proven the falsification of business records was done to conceal another crime, such as a campaign‑finance violation, which is what elevated the charges to felonies.
The Fosbury Flop was an innovative approach to high-jumping that revolutionized the sport by increasing human performance using physics and anatomy. The Kavanaugh Stop is the laziest of judicial rulings made without considering how actual humans behave when they have power over others. Here's the first photo of Fosbury doing his flop as a high school student along with a story about how it all came about. https://invention.si.edu/invention-stories/fosbury-flop-game-changing-technique I'll also say Dick Fosbury is legend and will be remembered for his accomplishments, not his notorious actions.
Trump's defense was allowed to present their case in a court of law. His evidence was heard. The jury unanimously found beyond a reasonable doubt that he was guilty of 34 felonies. You claimed he was not a convicted felon. That was an inaccurate claim on your part. But if you want to talk about the difference between misdemeanors and felonies. Let's talk about those 'illegal immigrants.' It's a misdemeanor.
You're engaging with people who have no care or regard for truth or fairness. They are committed leftists and their love, loyalty, and devotion are to serving and advancing the personal interests of their political gods.
You are a radical because you support the radical practice of open borders and the destruction of the U.S. You are a useful idiot for your super-rich political masters.
Some numbers via Seth Abramson: The Minneapolis PD has about 600 police officers to cover all law enforcement activities in the city. ICE/BP has 3,000 federal agents in the city to work on a much narrower portfolio. If you were only going to follow up on warrants for undocumented persons in Minneapolis in a short amount of time, you would need a "surge" of about 100 federal officers. So, we have 30 times the needed number of federal agents (five times the current city police staffing) roaming the streets of Minneapolis. The majority of that crew is undertrained, incapable of keeping a level head, and believe that hiding behind a badge and gun while swarming, yelling at, and assaulting people is the only way. It now also appears that DHS has been asking for volunteers to go to Minnesota, so that means the guys who want visit their wrath on blue states and MAGA opponents are over-represented in the 3,000. Yes, this is a silly exercise because we know that the 3,000 are not there for legit law enforcement, but it is still worthwhile to consider the scale of this whole thing. And they want to bring in more.
Dude you cry about fraud and corruption all the time on these forums yet when Trump is literally taking bribes for corrupt pardons for literal fraudsters you continue to suck his dick and it's lefties that are brainwashed? I sincerely feel like I'm going crazy cuz everyone has lost their damn minds
You’re right that the defense was heard and the jury returned guilty verdicts—that’s not in dispute. The key legal nuance is what made those charges felonies. Under New York law, falsifying business records is normally a misdemeanor and only becomes a felony if it’s done to conceal another crime. Trump’s defense—whether you agree with it or not—was that the prosecution didn’t conclusively prove that underlying crime. That’s why the case is controversial, not because due process was denied. On immigration, though, your statement is actually vaguely incorrect —it’s a civil violation under federal law if you merely overstay an allowed legal arrangement- The issue is the distinction... crossing the U.S. border illegally is a crime under federal law. • First illegal entry is a federal misdemeanor under 8 U.S.C. § 1325. • Illegal re-entry after deportation is a federal felony under 8 U.S.C. § 1326, Where felonies do come into play is with criminal conduct often tied to immigration violations—illegal reentry after deportation, identity fraud, human smuggling, drug trafficking, or violent crime. Those are federal felonies. But your side doesn't care about that distinction
It's evident lol After years of investigations, the only conviction was a bookkeeping offense that’s usually a misdemeanor, elevated to a felony through a legal theory that didn’t require proving an underlying crime in court. The verdict exists—but calling it decisive proof of major criminal conduct overstates what the case actually established. These people are jokes and they want citizens committing actual felonies by interfering with federal ICE operations. lol
