    I have a lot of Iranian coworkers who came here on educational visas over the past 10 years and then stayed to work and become citizens. The consensus is unanimous that they want to see the regime fall. More than half are monarchists who want to see the Shah come back and for the government to be run as a pro US puppet over the alternatives.

    Decades of research have proven that sanctions cripple the middle class more than anyone including the government they’re intended to target. Trump cares so much about Iranian people that he wants them to suffer even more.
