ATP we are half way through the season

we need a point guard, Amen is doing his best but can’t shoot and Jabari is in a slump and can’t be trusted

coaching is making sure these guys are putting up 100 shots in practice, clearly they are not

Get Sengun the ball back to the basket, not dribbling up and doing with that helter skelter bs he does followed by complaining and not taking open shots

Trade needs to happen to tweak this roster
Sengun Durant Amen are untouchable, but every body else needs to be available to be traded for shooters and guys who can create of the dribble

 

players need to be held accountable

 

I agree something needs to be done but I believe to advance they need to shake up this core. This means trading either Sengun or Amen or both. Get Giannis and a star or almost star guard in here along with a stretch 5. Guarantee we will win a title

 

I agree. Coaches need to be accountable as well. Anyone with a job needs to be accountable. I don’t know if Ime is held accountable by the corporation or not. It would seem that he is more in charge than Stone or Tito’s son, but who knows? What I do know is that Ime does hold players responsible, but have never once heard him take accountablilty. Occasionally he might say “we” need to do this better, but never “I” need to do something better. Not once. That is clearly a character issue and counter productive to being a head coach.

 

100% As I have always said, if you demonize one guy and judge him harshly you should apply it equally to all players. Nothing wrong with rooting for a guy that represents your race or ethnicity etc but to be clouded and bias in your judgement so much that you view him to be greater than what he is while arguing against the fact that he has numerous deficiencies is simply unreasonable and delusional. Many Lin fans were like this. Sengun had his fans as well but many turned on him this year for some reason. I criticize players equally. But I support them as well. I think Rockets should trade both Amen and Sheppard but I support them since they’re here and they’re trying and growing. and they’re our guys.

 

How many coaches say I? I think it’s rare you hear coaches say that. Saying we means acknowledging the issue as a collective. I don’t see anything wrong with that. Udoka may have his reasons and we don’t know what he says behind closed doors to his players. We do know however that players that have played for him love him. You don’t get love by being a narcissistic tyrant or not personable.
