    Man this is tough. Sometimes nothing can help. It just gnaws at you until you can find something that clicks......but sometimes you never do. All you can do is feel guilt at shaking your head or shrugging your shoulders at the situation.

    Just gotta keep trying to get sober over and over and hope some day it sticks. Hope he can find and keep the motivation to do it. He’s gotta find a new mission in life to get him off this track.

    I grew up around an addict. When she had a mission, things to get done, she was focused and sober. The problems came when she got comfortable and had too much time to sit around and think and get bored. Then the demons returned and took over. The most difficult thing is once you’ve been an addict For a long time, the physical aspect can really take over, making permanent recovery really difficult.
